Over the past 24 years, The Salvation Army of Greater Rochester’s Golf Tournament Fore! Kids has raised more than $1 million for children in need in Monroe County. This year’s tournament, held on July 13th at Irondequoit Country Club, will mark its Silver Anniversary.
Whether it’s providing the basics like food for their family, a backpack and supplies for school, or a warm winter coat and presents to open on Christmas morning, proceeds from the annual Golf Tournament Fore! Kids help to fund real change.
The tournament also supports Genesis House – The Salvation Army of Greater Rochester’s emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth, ages 16- 20, as well as sending Monroe County children to an overnight camp on Seneca Lake and a summer Kids Adventure Program in Rochester.
