This year, The Salvation Army of Greater Rochester aims to share 300 winter coats with local kids in need. You can help by setting up the shop or by assisting families as the children pick out their new coats!
Coats For Kids needs your help with:
- new coat drives at your workplace, church, neighborhood or organization
- monetary donations to help us purchase coats for kids
We can help with custom fliers, branded boxes and more to make your collection a success! Email maureen.hill@use.salvationarmy.org to plan your Coats For Kids drive today.
Volunteers Needed at the Event!
Set Up the Coat Shop VOLUNTEER SLOTS ARE FULL
You can help unboxing coats, sorting coats by size, hanging/arranging coats and making the shop area welcoming to families!
Assist Families at the Shop Event
Wednesday Oct 30th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Friday Nov 1st from 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Saturday Nov 2nd from 10:00am to 1:00pm
Be a 1-on-1 shop guide for the families who come to pick out their children's new winter coats. Help each child find their perfect color and style!
Volunteers are also needed at the check-in table when families come in for their shopping appointment.
