The Salvation Army's LONG POINT CAMP IS FOR ALL CHILDREN AGES 6 to 12 - regardless of race, gender or religious orientation.

GROUP & INDIVIDUAL SPORTS - We have a variety of sports activities including Ga-Ga, soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball and kickball. Teamwork and good sportsmanship abound!

WATERFRONT ACTIVITIES (Swimming and Boating) - We offer aquatic activities to all our campers. Certified lifeguards are on duty to be sure that this program area is safe for all.

ARTS & CRAFTS - Time for campers to get messy, creative and explore their imagination! Our projects include painting and other medias.

PERFORMING & CREATIVE ARTS - Campers choose one club of special interest to focus on during their stay. Campers also enjoy special cabin activities planned by their counselors.

GAMES & FUN - hiking, s'mores and more!

Long Point Camp is a Christian camp; children are offered the opportunity to participate in Christian education, devotions, prayer and a worship service.

Camp is an active place with professional staff and plenty of physical activity for the benefit of a child’s health and well-being.

Our facility is equipped with a playground, gymnasium, a lakefront boating area, pontoon boat and kayaks, an outdoor swimming pool, a pioneer village, a low ropes challenge course, an animal farm, hiking trails, sports recreation fields, and outdoor basketball and volleyball courts. This provides a variety of activities for the camper to participate in.

Cabins are equipped with toilets, showers, and recreation rooms for rainy day activities.

Transportation to camp is provided by The Salvation Army - Rochester Area Services.

Spots are limited - those interested should not delay registering.
