Every year hundreds of families rely on The Salvation Army of Greater Rochester to ease the expense of going back to school. You can help by volunteering or donating school supplies during our "Stuff The Bus" collection.
Volunteer on Stuff the Bus Day!
Help greet shoppers, pass out mini school supply lists, and receive school donations from shoppers as they leave. This is a fun and easy activity for helpers 14 or older. To sign up, email maureen.hill@use.salvationarmy.org
WHERE: Gates Walmart or Henrietta Walmart entrances WHEN: Saturday, August 16th from 10am to noon or noon to 2pm
Other Ways to Help:
HOST A COLLECTION at your church, work place or neighborhood now through Friday, August 15th. Email maureen.hill@use.salvationarmy.org for instructions, flyers and/or collection boxes to use at your location.
PURCHASE/DONATE school supplies at the Victor Walmart, Henrietta Walmart, or Gates Walmart "Stuff The Bus" Drives on Saturday, August 16th from 10am to 2pm.
DONATE ONLINE through our school supply registry here: https://salarmy.us/rocgive2kids The items you buy will be sent right to our collection site in Rochester for distribution!
SORT SUPPLIES and STUFF BACKPACKS with us at our West Ave location. Helpers are needed to prep the supplies for children who will receive! Email maureen.hill@use.salvationarmy.org for details and to sign up.
